“I am glad for the opportunity to be involved with MCHC for several reasons. First, I believe in our mission and feel that our programs provide vital community services.  I feel strongly that initiatives like Healthy Start and the Family Benefits Program, and all those services offered through the Family Center, are critical steps in reducing social, economic and health disparities in Chester County (and beyond).  I have also had the opportunity to meet and work closely with several members of the MCHC community and am continually impressed by their dedication and enthusiasm.  I am honored to be a part of such an impactful and well-regarded organization! As a public administration academic and practitioner, I am familiar with the challenges faced by struggling women, children and families.  As an educator, I see how failing to address those challenges impacts individuals and communities.  MCHC’s successes today will create opportunities for students in higher education tomorrow.  That excites me!”
