Maritza Rivera Cochran has dedicated the last fourteen years working as a Parent Educator at MCHC’s Kennett Square Family Center serving low income families in southern Chester County with children ages 0-5. In this role, she ensures families and their children develop the early learning skills they need to succeed in school. Prior to that, she worked as a Family Health Advocate for the Healthy Start Program at MCHC for 5 years, providing pregnant and parenting women and their young children with prenatal education and connections to important community resources. She has an Associate’s Degree in Marketing Management and Business from the Bronx Community College in New York and is bilingual English/Spanish.
