MCHC’s record of success for over 20 years, would not have been achieved without the time, talent, and support of our wonderful volunteers. Our volunteers show us that caring community members have the power to improve the lives of children and their families.
A lot of care and preparation goes into assembling infant care items for each new mom, a backpack for a new kindergartner, or a mailing to our supporters. Healthy Start and the Kennett Square Family Center hold family events such as Dental Fairs, Holiday Parties, or Safety Events for participants throughout the year. Be part of a special night by volunteering and see MCHC in action! Please visit our website for a list of upcoming events.
We enjoy meeting new faces in the county! If you are a member of or know a particular church, mom’s group, school, service club, or any group that may want to know more about us, let us know. We would love to meet them and tell them about our important work.
An important ingredient to our success in reaching so many residents from our communities is our presence at local community events such as local fairs. Represent MCHC at a local event and tell new friends about our important work. MCHC will equip you with all the information and materials you will need.
Our Board of Directors and committees are always looking for a fresh perspective! We are particularly in need of members with marketing, fundraising, or finance experience.
Financial support is vital to our efforts to ensure families thrive
